Katie + Mitch's Love Story
5 years in the making...
In the digital age where love stories often begin with a swipe, theirs was no exception. Little did they know that this simple action would mark the beginning of forever. Their first meeting on July 29th, 2019, was filled with laughter and an undeniable connection that they both felt instantly.
As their love story unfolded, they decided to take a significant step by moving in together in August 2020. This move not only brought them closer physically but also deepened their bond, understanding, and love for each other. They became not just lovers but best friends, partners in crime, and each other's rock during challenging times.
In the summer of 2021, their adventurous spirits led them to travel around the country, exploring new places, creating unforgettable memories, and falling even deeper in love. By the end of that summer, they made a decision that would set the course for their future together - they moved to Boston. This move symbolized their commitment to each other and their shared goals and dreams.
The pinnacle of their love story came in 2023 at Electric Forest, surrounded by the vibrant energy of music, nature, and their closest friends. While talking about how much fun they were having and future travel plans, Mitch told Katie he would go anywhere with her for the rest of their lives. That was the moment he pulled out a ring and asked her to marry him on the ferris wheel, a moment suspended in time that will be cherished forever. Amidst the cheers of friends and the magical atmosphere of the festival, Katie said "yes" to a lifetime of adventures, love, and happiness with Mitch.
